Decant: 4½ hours - Deep mahogany red, centre almost opaque. Nose a little dusty, not a great deal there. Nice balance in the mouth with a lot of fruit obvious right from the start, which a bit of air just releases like a song. Lots of lovely complexity and a wonderful balancing acidity. When you have to swallow, the aftertaste is really rewarding. Very good indeed and with a decent life ahead of it. 90 points
