TN: 1937 Niepoort Colheita Port

Decant: None - Bottled 1979. Cloudy appearance, deep honey colour with a green rim. Nose dominated by spirit but otherwise very little on the nose. Sweet into the mouth, lots of sugar and then the acidity comes through in a balanced way. The aftertaste starts extremely well but drops off disappointingly quickly and loses a point from the score for this. 91 points
