Decant: 6 hours - From half bottle. Deep red colour, centre just transparent but distinctly lighter on the rim. The nose is subdued, difficult to coax and is distincltly hot but has lots of blueberries present. In the mouth this is dry, but the fruit comes through well. Tannins grab the mouth when air mixes with the wine but the fruit is so powerful. WOnderful layers of flavour and a great balancing acidity. A gentle and caressing aftertaste, long and lingering and dominated by fruit. This is very drinkable today but will it have the power and structure to last 30 years? 91 points
