Decant: 12 hours - Clear ruby colour, pale edge with distinct browning. Warm, dusty nose dominated by redcurrants and strawberry syrup. Overly alcoholic in the mouth with a fierce burn. Simple fruit structure, short length. 84/100 or 3/3 on Tom's scale. 12 hours decanter time. From what Sean and Moses said, it sounds as though the bottle came from a case that had suffered in poor storage conditions for some of its life. This was pleasant enough but was not a good showing for a wine that can be quite impressive. 84 points
