For The Love Of Port

Decant: 4 hours - One of a bottle of 5 acquired as a lot of unknown 1927 port by Tom at auction. Initially, on decanting this was a deep red colour and had a very thick texture; rich and full in flavour and with a good length.

On serving 3 hours later, this wine had flattened and developed an incredible nose of fresh cut mushrooms. What a disappointment. NR points
