Decant: 2½ hours - Deep red, opaque centre and leaving a pink stain on the glass when swirled. Open nose, very perfumed and peppery over the characteristic blueberry. Very silky in texture, almost hiding tannins; very smooth and refined but still so fruity and tannic. Very drinkable today, but leaves some concerns about its ability to sustain itself over the long haul. 89 points
