TN: 2001 Quinta do Vesuvio Vintage Port

Decant: 3 hours - Deep red, with an opaque centre. Youthful. Little on the nose, but what there is is an attractive mix of mulberry and blackberry. Soft in the mouth, covers the tongue with gentle chocolate and bramble. Plenty of soft tannins to support a delightful structure. The aftertaste is slow to develop but eventually delivers a very pleasant but soft finish. An elegant and pleasing style, but I wonder if this is closing up? 89 points
