Decant: 8 hours - Ex-cellars bottle, clearly from the condition of the cork this was recorked recently. Pale in colour, very light and transparent. Very dusty nose, pine cones and rosemary! Very thick texture; lively impact. The acidity is biting with rosemary essence behind. Some sour juniper or perhaps blackthorn fruit. Does get a little bit harsh, perhaps a bit soapy. A quiet start to the aftertaste, which grows nicely. Some heat in there, and this leads to a long and enjoyable finish. 87 points
