TN: 1948 Warre Vintage Port

Decant: 104 hours - Sweet and sugary - candy sugar on the nose. More acidic impact than before, still showing a little faded secondary fruit but a cutting woodiness or pine-sap dominates. Harsh aftertaste, but this fades to leave an elegant and perfumed long finish of bitter cherry. 85 points
