TN: 1958 Warre Vintage Port

Decant: 3 hours - A light centre, but a good golden red. Cough drops and sour lemon on the nose. Smooth in texture; sweet, but then a quince bitterness comes through the strawberry syrup. The mature fruit is supprted by a strong acidity. The first impression on swallowing is a lot of heat, but this is followed by a long and mouthfilling aftertaste. 84 points
