Decanted 8 hours. A light ruby color is reminiscent of a Port 20 or 30 years older. A well integrated and balanced Port full of sweet strawberries, allspice, and silky texture that was remarkably consistent. This bottle was fully mature, with very little tannins remaining, and should hold on this plateau for another 5 or so years. I, and the other guests, really enjoyed this elegant VP.
