NV Kopke Bridge Ruby Port

This is the best selling ruby style port in Norway and until recently the only Kopke available here. Due to this, I have had a dubious view of Kopke as a quality producer. However, during the FTLOP Harvest Tour Oct 2010 I had the opportunity to taste so many nice Kopke-products, that I now understand that this Bridge Ruby-product is their lowest level. Came home with a 1957 Kopke Colheita, which I look forward to drink.
Medium dark red colour. “Shy” thin/light aroma of fruit. Round, VERY easy drinking ruby, and slightly waterish. After-taste nearly non-existent. 78 pts.
PS! I have tasted a lot of these bottles over the years, as whenever I do some port courses for friends/colleagues/family, I start the ruby-style products with the Kopke Bridge, as most people have seen it. Therefore, this is not an off-bottle, but quite representative.
