1992 Vesuvio Colheita

Color: tawny red, about what you would expect from a 20-year old.
Nose: Caramel, vanilla, brown sugar, hazelnut, and prefumed alcohol.
Palate: brilliant balance. Luscious, silky, rich. Strong acidity keeps everything in check.

Score: 94 points. I really wish we could buy this stuff!
