I have bought from them before, and thus received the e-mail. On the positive side, I received my Port and got some great prices on it and some other wines. On the negative side, they sent me something other than the Amarone I ordered. They did make good on that and gave me credit for the purchase.

Anytime you can buy a quality Vintage Port in the USA for under $40 ... buy in if you can afford to do so. That is a crazy good price for sure. Considering that's what you pay for some 10 year old Tawnies or even on sale for 20 year old Tawnies ... how do you say no to that?

good price, same as an eariler sale, I got my 6 bottles of each of these, so no more needed I would say. Anyone find a good source or 2007 sandeman, let me know!

The 2000 Sandeman Vau (bottled 2002) is now available in decent quantities in Ontario Liquor Stores for $19.95 (Canadian).

This is a 'regular' listing (not a Vintages - which is their 'reserve' or 'fine wines' section) - vintage is not always listed for the regular stores; product code doesn't always change as newer vintages are released. However all the stores I checked have the 2000.

Taste tested and well worth the price; still shows youthful exuberance, but lacks the complexity of a 'great' Port. But at, essentially, a LBV price, it's a great deal!

Not sure of the quantities but the 1997 was selling around 25$ in Québec. Some bottles seems to have aged on the shelves while others are perfect. Seems like Sandemand are clearing some space in their lodges!
