Decanted abt 1.5 hrs. Dark red colour. Pleasantly powerful aroma of oak, berries and a hint of liquorice. Distinct and fairly elegant taste of berries, oak in a smaller portion and some spices. Short to medium finish which is quickly fading away. A nice Douro red wine, which is now possibly “over the hill”. 88 pts
