After a long hot and hard hill ride at race pace, then some yard work in the heat, followed up by some housework left me yearning for a nice cold crisp white and this fit the bill. Light and crisp, citrus, pear, and with its normal big dose of acidity this has always been a excellent wine for the price (about $8-10). I've had many bottles of this in the past few years and its always been a favorite of mine. If you're looking for a solid white wine be sure to search this one out.

I agree with you Andy. In that price range, it is much more interesting and food friendly than most, especially nondescript California chardonnays.
