A very pale strawberry with some light browning in the center. A lot of early heat blew off after an hour or so leaving a soft and pleasant VP full of licorise and resin. Just a whiff of aguardente and pine on the medium length finish. Fully mature now, this VP is best to drink up in the near term, as I don't see it getting better from this point forward.
