All grapes from Douro Superior. Decanted 1.5 hrs. Dark red colour with a light rim. Pleasant aroma with floral tones, pepper, possibly some cigar (!) and a bit fruit. Juicy fruit in the taste, but lacking something in the middle part. Medium body. Pleasant tannins. Medium length in the finish. 18 months in oak barrels, but that is shown in a minor way. Nice red wine, but nothing special. In view of the high score in Wine Spectators Top 100, I am a bit disappointed. I have two more bottles and will report if I get a better impressions of those. 87 pts.

Sounds like I should be worried! I have a ton of faith in CARM so feel my `07s will show in time.
