Bottle purchased from Easport Liquors in Annapolis for $59.99 in March 2011.
Opened 4/25/11
Color was a nice, clear amber. Aromas of caramel and a little alcohol. Strong acidity. Tastes were of caramel, brown sugar, citrus (more lemon than orange), roasted walnuts (even a little ashy, if that makes sense) and molasses. A little heat, but I will see how it is on day 2 tonight.
Medium length finish. A very nice 30 year tawny. Thankfully, I have several bottles of this left.
Overall score: 92 points
