20-20 wines is having a sale on 375ml (half-bottles) of this VP. It is NOT the Passadouro port, but the VP.

1/2 bottles are $33.00 (US). A quick check on Wine-Searcher shows this is the best price you can get in the States.

I should add that the weather here in L.A. is in the 90's to low 100's. So, if you plan on shipping it, I would have them hold it until the weather cools off a bit later this year.

(Just a happy customer, :blah: )

Just to clarify Andy:

Passadouro is a vineyard in the Vale de Mendiz area on the North side of the Douro, up the Pinhao Valley. It was owned by Dirk van der Niepoort and a German partner/friend of his. Dirk sold his interest in the vineyard two or three years ago. Niepoort Passadouro was made as VP for a few vintages.

I did not know it was sold and Dirk no longer has an interest in it, thanks. Do you know why Dirk sold his share in it?

I guess I didn't explain that one to well in my original post, opps! I just wanted to make sure people knew it wasn't the Passadouro, which was produced in '97 also.
