Bottled in 2008. While it has nothing to do with a tasting note, I have to admit to really liking the older style frosted squat bottle they use for this Port. For some reason I always expect Krohn's Tawny Ports to be more Portuguese like, that is more fruit driven. This isn't the case here with it's light honey color that is more like a 20 year old tawny. While most 10 year tawny's are still show some fresh fruit and some tannins, this is a more mature 10 year tawny with it's dried nuts, orange peel, mahogany, and acidity that keeps the maple notes from being to cloying. Although not as complex as a 20 year tawny. I dare say a more feminine aged tawny, but not in a bad way. I've not had this in a long time, but I need to put this back in the rotation for sure.
