Forgive the short TN here, but it was a long and HOT day at work today.

Very dark color
Strong nose of plums and berries and a touch of Eucaliptus (so strong it reminded me of a VP)
Mid-wieght on the palate with strong marrion berries and a nice touch of heat
Finish is mid-long in length.

I opened this 3 days ago and last night and today are the best showing of this. This is one of the better LBV's I've had in several months. A great job by Grahams, my hats off to them on this one :D

How do you think it compares to their 2000 LBV?

IIRC, I have not had the 2000 LBV yet so I can't compare them. But if it is anywhere near the 1998 I would be impressed. If you got a bottle of the 2000 give it a shot and let us know how it is.

I don't remember much, except that it tasted like the 6 grapes, except stronger.
