1991 Warre's Vintage Port

Upon decanting, a relatively light colored VP with a substantial amount of flaky sediment in the punt. Nose is mostly prunes and cedar/cigar box with a faint hint of baking spice. Fairly sweet on the attack, with a plummy core. Seems imminently drinkable, mature, and balanced to me. The best feature of the '91 Warre (at this point in time) is the long, grippy, and dark-toned finish. 90 pts
