10 Year Old Tawny Port by VZ -- Van Zeller

Bottled 2010. Produced and bottled by port merchant and blender Barao de Vilar (this is not a quinta, but more the Andresen-type of company). Decanted 3 hrs. Clear red colour with a touch of brown. Still after decanting the aroma is affected by spirit. Can detect some oak, nuts and marzipan in the aroma. Balanced, sweetish style, medium to full body but negatively affected by the spirit also in the taste. Medium length aftertaste. 84 pts.
