The entry level Douro wine from Quinta do Crasto. Lots of dark fruit and licorice on the nose. Lots of tar pops out then is overtaken by a big wave of plums, light tannins, a touch of minerality, and just enough spices to give it some zing. The medium length finish doesn't disappoints and completes this nice entry level wine. The 2007 vintage of this showed a marked step up in overall quality and this vintage continues that trend.
