Vintage Port Promotion

25th November 2011

Dear Client,

With the cooler weather upon us and with the festive season approaching we continue our theme of reducing our inventory and have turned out attention to Vintage Port with our 5th promotion. Following our earlier formula most of the Port prices have already been reduced, many by 10% or more.

We doubt you will find a larger selection of choice drinking ports. Order now and allow these fine wines the time to settle to enable them to be in their best condition to be properly enjoyed later.

VINTAGE PORT
It is unusual for old vintage port to have original labels because the bottles were stored for many
years in damp conditions. If not specifically mentioned pre 1970 ports have our neutral black & white
labels for identification marked P/L in the list. From 1970 onwards all ports, unless otherwise stated,
have original labels.
New Corks
Where necessary corks which are showing signs of seepage through old age have been replaced by us
The levels remain as they are and have not been topped up with any other Port or vintage.
These are clearly identified and, because of this necessity, the price has been adjusted

While every effort has been made to ensure that wines offered for sale are in an
acceptable condition, it would be sensible for purchasers to remind themselves that
wine is a perishable product. Allowances for its age and condition must therefore be
taken into account.
