18 months in French oak barrels. Decanted 2 hrs. Dark red with a light rim. Very nice aroma of berries, oak, flowers and something smoked. The type of taste I really enjoy: Power and elegance at the same time. Oak, ripe berries and tannins in perfect harmony. Full body. Aftertaste was short to medium. A wine that can be enjoyed now, but surely also a product for the cellar. Buy it if you can find it. Price here only a few USD above Crasto Tinta Roriz and absolutely worth those extra USD. 94 pts.
