2000 Barros Vintage Port

Decant: Not Known - 95% opaque centre, just starting to change colour on the rim. Lovely and open on the nose, softly fruity. Silky texture on the palate with lovely fruit and a good balance which has been missing from other Barros wines on show today. The flavours and complexity grows really well with violets all over the palate. A lingering aftertaste and finish which is full of slightly spicy red licorice. 90 points
