Decant: 2½ hours - Half bottle, bottled unfiltered (but cold stabilized) in 2009. Deep red colour, opaque. Pine needles and blackberries on the nose. Slightly hollow entry, medium bodied, quite dry; full of blackcurrant and soft tannins. Fruit levels grow well until a full, fruity and dry aftertaste hits on swallowing before a very long and very big finish of dusty cocoa and blackcurrant. The aftertaste and finish are the best features of this port - a very easy drinker. 85 points
