1963 Dow Vintage Port

Decant: 6 hours - Deepest in colour of the 1963 flight. 50% opaque. Soapy on the nose, not attractive. Sweetest entry of the flight, but showing the most tannins and rather dry. Powerful aftertaste, initially dominated by the tannins but this leads to a long and pwerful finish that is full of cedar and tobacco. Served blind and guessed to be the Fonseca. 87 points
