1966 Dow Vintage Port

Decant: 6 hours - Modest red colour, copper in tone, pale on the rim. Harsh nose, not attractive. Sweet fruit on the palate with a modest flavour profile; quite dry, but attractive and still with some tannins showing in the mid palate. Big aftertaste, and a lovely big finish. Served blind and guessed to be the Dow. 89 points
