For The Love Of Port

Decant: 8 hours - Deep red colour which sticks to the glass when swirling; opaque and with little signs of maturity. Quite closed on the nose, but showing some faint sweet blackcurrant; medium bodied and with lots of fruit. A lovely fruit-driven aftertaste with lots of blueberry before a black chocolate finish of great length. Very tasty port; excellent value to hunt out.

(Note that 2 days later this port had lost its balance and become extremely acidic.) 90 points
