Decant: 3 days - 12,500 cases released. Modest red colour, solid and over 90% opaque. A little musty on the nose, quite closed with some vanilla apparent. Dry green apple attack, soft tannins but big and slighty astringent acidity. The dry blackcurrant fruit arrives late and slowly sweetens when held on the palate. A blackcurrant aftertaste, followed by a soft, dark chocolate finish of good length. Softening nicely, this is drinking well today but will be better in 5-10 years. 88 points
