1991 Morgan Vintage Port

Decant: 22 hours - More mature in appearance than the Croft 1991 shown alongside - slightly cloudy. Mucky, muddy nose - not attractive; perhaps some residual bottle stink? Some hollowness on entry; harsh and acidic in the mouth. Unbalanced. Some tannins still show through. Harsh aftertaste, but a very long finish shows what this port might be. Could this be shutting down again? Whatever the reason, this was not a good showing. 86 points
