2004 Quinta do Noval Vintage Port

Decant: Pop 'n' pour - Ex-cellars. Very dark in colour, opaque with a magenta core. Floral, blackcurrant nose. Satin texture on the palate, very smooth. Very dry tannins dominate over the fruit - but there is plenty of fruit and acidity when these fade. Big - but late developing - palate presence to this wine. A dry aftertaste of very good length. Still as impressive as it was when last tasted 2 years ago. 90 points
