2007 Quinta do Noval Vintage Port

Decant: Pop 'n' pour - Ex-cellars. Deep red and with no purple, opaque. Floral nose, a little closed; what there is is dominated by lavender. Thick texture, little immediate fruit but then a wave of fruit and tannins explodes over the palate. Dry aftertaste of ripe blackcurrants. A massive finish. Really impressive. 92+ 92 points
