NV Quevedo 20 Year Old Tawny Port

Decant: 1 hour - Served blind. Deep burnished orange in colour; 40% opaque. Slightly funky nose, full of raisins and sultanas but with a slight plastic edge - something not quite right.Sweet entry, but little flavour other than lots of brown sugar; a touch of tannin perhaps on the palate and some odd sharp edges to the flavour profile. Limited aftertaste and a finish only on the edges of the tongue. Viewed by others familiar with this wine as a poor bottle. NR points
