1995 Ramos Pinto LBV Port

Decant: Not Known - Bottled unfiltered in 1999. Deep red in colour, no purple. Appearing in the early stages of maturity. Opaque. Nosing of blackcurrants and sage, fresh and attractive. Medium bodied entry, very flavoursome. Large amounts of sweet fruit with a good dose of fruity acidity. Good complexity on the palate. Great aftertaste, with a long finish of soft chocolate and bitter blackcurrant. Impressive port, excellent LBV with more years of improvement in the cellar ahead of it. 90 points
