Decant: 1 hour - Mild red colour, 80% opaque. Mature nose, bang in the midddle of the secondary phase with a lovely interplay of fruit and spice. Lovely balance on entry, lots of fruit and soft tannins - and with lots of acidity. Medium bodied, with a big palate presence. Sweet afteraste of candied cherries and nutmeg. This morphs into a dry, bitter chocolate finish of considerable length. (Vintage guessed to be 83, 83, 85; Shipper guessed to be Graham.) 88 points
