Why not fly to Europe and still save money on it (have to wonder if the first entry is for only a half bottle)? http://www.wine-searcher.com/find/d%27yquem/1893 There's one review on Cellar Tracker giving it a 98, for whatever that's worth.

I also neglected to mention the price does not include shipping. If a potential buyer chooses all 4 bottles, the shipping goes for approximately $501.

What a deal, you can pay prices like that for Sauternes which is a total crap shoot to still drink well (although my oldest are all from 1920's not late 1800's). Besides compared to Madeira from the 1700's almost always a pleasure to drink even today ... and a MUCH higher % of success than old Sauternes ... I'll stick to buying 19th century Madeira instead of Sauternes/Barsac.

I gotta admit to being curious about the 1893 vintage in the Central Loire too, for sweet chenin blancs. Nonetheless old madeira (and port) remain great value.
