For The Love Of Port

For a number of months now, I've noticed Spectrum has been auctioning off "The Majestic Cellar", from a New York collector. The consignment apparently included a huge amount of old Port, some in good condition and some not. Does anyone have any idea who this cellar belongs to, or any of the story behind it?
