For The Love Of Port

Lemons and grapefruit dominate the palate. Compared to other vintages, the lower apparent acidity gives this a "fatter" texture than previous ones. Some pepper on the back end gives a little added depth. An enjoyable sipper but with the lower acidity, fatter texture, and absences of it's normal complexity it lacks the appeal of previous vintages. I've had this several times with similar experiences.
