Decant: 1 hour - Half bottle. Light red colour, evolved; 50% opaque. Stewed fruit nose, prunes and a sharp acidity. Varnishy flavours on the palate, strongly acidic spoiling the balance of the wine. Dried out flavours, dried prunes, black coffee and a searing acidity. Lovely molasses finish of immense length and huge volume. A little thin on the palate and needing to be drunk up soon. 82 points
