1912 Real Vinicola Vintage Port

Decant: Pop 'n' pour - A colheita, but no bottling date given. Cloudy, light brown with a barley coloured rim. Gentle colheita nose, quite restrained, not much showing. Sweet impact on the palate, then powerful burning acidity. Little shows on the palate, just a bit of subdued honey and lemon. Hot - unpleasantly hot - and fairly short finish. Not great, especially not in a 1912 horizontal! 84 points
