1991 Quinta de la Rosa Vintage Port

Decant: 24 hours - Deep red and opaque. Sweet blackcurrants leap out of the glass. Modest entry, hollow on the palate. Mid-palate has hints of sweet blueberries in the background with soft tannins and light acidity. Dry aftertaste and short finish dominated by bitter flavours of birch sap. Not a great wine to drink today. 80 points
