1988 Sandeman Vau Vintage Port

Decant: Not Known - Sandeman's only single quinta wine ever released, bottled to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the foundation of Sandeman. Mature in appearance. Bottle stink dominates the nose. Surprisingly light on the palate; lots of fruit but also plenty of acidity and still some soft tannins. Very sweet - a little too sweet. Lively aftertaste, leaving dry cheeks and a long finish. 87 points
