I only saw a couple of nominated films. The most buzz if for Argo, and it seemed to knock zero dark 30 off the radar (I didn't think ZDT was Oscar worthy myself). Django is too crazy, although good. I'll go with Argo.

On my ballot I picked Argo, even though I didn't think it was the most worthy. But I did think it was a movie with a strong Hollywood connection, and the Academy likes those, e.g. the previous winner. I had 15 correct picks.

I had seen all but two Best Picture nominations, (Amour, Les Mis). I felt that Lincoln was the BEST film of the year. I liked Argo when I watched it in the theater. But when I learned how much of the ending in the movie never happened in real life ... pretty much from the time they entered the airport to after the made up runway chase scene ... I felt like WAY TOO much creative license was taken. I joked with someone that it would have been akin, to: in the movie Lincoln, watching Abe celebrate New Year's Eve in 1965.
I understand that Ben A. was after dramatic effect, but come on ... you can't add THAT MUCH to a movie and call it credible, when it was "based upon" a real historical incident.
