Tasted blind in a lineup of 1983 Vintage Ports. Light red amber, brick red, thin with some grit; fairly uniform. Aroma featured a light mustiness with alcohol (VA?), and dried cherry. In the mouth there is still more alcohol which carried through the finish. Later, there was a nice sweetness in the mouth, more cherry, some citrus, and more tangy fruit. Stuart observed cinnamon red hots, which I concurred with. 91 points. (20 Apr 13)
