Decanted 12 hours (swirled the decanter a handful of times along the way). By the time we drank it the heat from the spirit had faded and it showed v nicely. Color was a transparent redish/brownish, the flavor had strong hints of honey. Was v good but didnt find it great. Some of the friends I had it with were praising it to no end.

I think this is an oddity in the Graham's lineup. It was an ugly duckling with extreme heat when young, so much so, that I could never enjoy it. A half decade or so ago, it FINALLY turned the corner and with enough time in decanter to lose the aguardente hot impression, it was better and each time I've had it in the past few years, it gets better and better. Still not a GREAT VP or a GREAT Graham's, but it has improved dramatically in the past eighteen years.
