Tonight's Cinderellawine.com Offer:
You don't see wines like this every day. White Port on sale tonight!

*Please note, this wine arrives Friday, October 25th.

Non Vintage - Casa De Santa Eufemia 30 Anos White Port
94 Points - Roy Hersh / For the Love of Port
List Price - $79.98
CinderellaWine.com Price - $49.99, with free shipping on 2 bottles or more!

Tonight's offer is a rare treat. While seldom seen, aged white Port can be one of the best sweet wines of the wine world. This beautiful, mature wine was all produced in the 1973 vintage, although it can't be called a 1973 vintage because it is white. It has an aroma that is intoxicating all by itself. Produced from native Portuguese varietals, at almost 40 years of age, this gem is absolutely singing! Pale orange with gold highlights, the wine boasts a wonderful bouquet of baking spices, orange rind, creme brulee, honeysuckle and grilled tropical fruits. The palate is smooth as silk, with an impossibly long finish.

It was given a huge 94 Point rating by Roy Hersh (For the Love of Port) and 92 Points from the Wine Enthusiast. Tonight we're offering it at $49.99 a bottle, with free shipping on orders of 2 bottles or more. We are coming to the last of this wine and when it is gone that's it forever! Do not miss out on this very special bottle!

Glenn,
I think comment that you made offline to me is correct - This is not a 30 year old port, but the White Special Reserve (which is now 40 years old). I don't believe that Casa de Santa Eufemia makes a 30 year old white.

I wonder if it is a new bottling? I don't remember for sure the year that my current supply was bottled, but I think it was 2008? A new bottling with 5 more years in cask could be markedly different than those older bottles.

Yes. I was there. But we didn't taste a 30 year old white Port. The wine offered here is 40 years old [cheers.gif]
